Donna got up on the wrong side of the bed—and she let people know it. She snapped at her husband for singing. She snapped at her assistant over a memo. She snapped at her colleagues just because.
What finally snapped Donna out of her snit? A voice on the radio. As she was changing stations, she heard a line from the Psalms: "This is the day the Lord has made . . ."
This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. Bad moods happen. What we do with them—and what we do to others—is our decision. However you woke up today, this is the day the Lord has made. Rejoice! . . . in the high calling of our daily work.
This is the day the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
