I’ve got to be able to translate to my technician: do they understand exactly what we’re talking about? So how do I use metaphors and pictures and visuals? When we finish the class on how we sell cars we say, “Here’s the easiest way for you to think about it. When you go home tonight, if one of your children were to say to you ‘What did you say or do today?’ if you can’t recount everything you said and did with confidence and feel good about it – if you have any kind of cringe – then our company did something wrong.
