Correcting Mistakes

Katie worked in her dad's fast-food restaurant, taking orders and handling the drive-through. Occasionally she got the dreaded phone call. And the caller invariably was furious.
"You messed up our order!" A sandwich missing … or no fries … maybe the wrong drink.
Katie’s dad had taught her the drill. "We’re so sorry," Katie would say. "Give us your address, and we'll deliver it."
Some customers backpedaled. "Wow, no need for that," they'd say. Others opened the door several minutes later to an employee with the correct order and a big smile.

At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
