Work and Play Where You Are

As a high school football player in Chico, California, Aaron was pretty good. But graduation came and not a single major college had a scholarship for him. Today, of course, Aaron Rodgers is the Green Bay Packers quarterback—named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLV.
Aaron could have checked out after that early disappointment. But he was a competitor. He joined a junior college team and led it to a Number 2 national ranking. At that point, the University of California invited him to come play.
This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. Most of us face times in life when our skills are undervalued. Whatever your field, like MVP Rodgers, play your best game where you are—in the high calling of our daily work.
